Closet Design Help

This is a manufactured real wood product. Our panel sides come in two parts and our shelving is nailed together.

Below are our styles and some differences between them.

Features:

Shelf Style - Solid or Ventilated Shelving

The minimum distance available between shelves in our cubbies is 2" however, we recommend spacing the additional shelves 1 hole further at slightly over 5-3/4".

The solid style shelves have slats side by side all the way through the shelf for a complete bottom while the vented style has gaps between the slats to allow for light and air to flow through the closet.

Panel Style - Deluxe or Open Panels

We recommend the Deluxe Panel versions if you need to cut down the height. The open panel is not designed to be cut down.

Dimensions - All of our cubbies stand at 7' or 84" tall, all of our products are divided between 14.5" depth and 12.5" depth. The width is the purchased size and an be cut to fit. If you order a product with panels, the assembled size is 1.5" wider than the displayed shelf size due to the panel thickness.
Ease of Assembly - Pre-drilled for standard installation & a baseboard notch (6.5” Baseboard & below).

14.5" Depth products are not compatible with 12.5" Depth Products!

How to design:

When designing your closet start with dimensions, length and width of your space. Below you will find a few of our best sellers to get started. Though we offer many products, the list below will help you get a design in mind.

1. Start with a base unit, think of this as the first building block. If you are only adding organization to one wall, a Wall Kit will be perfect for you. We offer Wall Kits in 6', 8' and 10' options and all of them can be cut down to fit your space as needed. If you have multiple walls and want a wrap-around style closet see the additional options below.

2. Add additional structure by placing these where they will work best. Cubby units can be connected to another Cubby with Hanging Kits in the next section, while Cubby Add-Ons connect directly to any Cubby.

3. Connect it all together with additional parts and Hanging Kits to make your closet truly unique.

Closet Solutions

Keep in mind that since our products are made from solid wood, they can be cut down to fit any space necessary. Also, any unit that has a panel set will have a notch cut out for the base board or trim for up to 6 inches.

All Wall Kits:

All Wall Kits will be 7 feet tall once assembled.
All of the units will be either 12 ½ inches or 14 ½ inches in depth.
Due to the panel sets, add 1 ½ inches to the total width of the unit.

6' (72") = 73 ½"

8' (96") = 97 ½"

10' (120") = 121 ½"

All Cubby and Shoe Cubby Units:

All Cubby and Shoe Cubby Units will be 7 feet tall once assembled.
All of the units will be either 12 ½ inches or 14 ½ inches in depth.
Due to the panel sets, add 1 ½ inches to the total width of the unit.

12" = 13 ½"

18" = 19 ½"

24" = 25 ½"

30" = 31 ½"

Corner Cubby Units:

Corner Cubby Units will be 7 feet tall once assembled.
The 12 ½ inch depth Corner Cubby takes up the space of a 24 ¾ inch x 24 ¾ inch square.
The 14 ½ inch depth Corner Cubby takes up the space of a 26 ¾ inch x 26 ¾ inch square.

Cubby Add-On Units:

Add-On Units are not a standalone unit, must attach to another Cubby Unit.
All Cubby Add-On Units will be 7 feet tall once assembled
All of the units will be either 12 ½ inches or 14 ½ inches in depth.
Due to the panel set, add ¾ of an inch to the total width of the unit.

12" = 12 ¾"

18" = 18 ¾"

24" = 24 ¾"

30" = 30 ¾"

Hanging Kit Units:

Hanging Kits include what is required for two sections of hanging.
The width is that of the purchase, for example and 30 inch hanging kit will be 30 inches in width once installed.
All of the kits will be either 12 ½ inches or 14 ½ inches in depth.
The height can be anywhere on a cubby or wall you would like.

Additional Items:

Each item below is not a standalone unit and must be used in conjunction with our other products: such as, Cubby Units and Hanging Kit Units.
A single Panel set will be: H = 7', D = 12 ½" or 14 ½", W = ¾"
Single Shelves will be the purchased size.
Single Rods and Rod Kits will be the purchased size.
