This is not a stand-alone unit. This unit must be placed between two walls, or one wall with a Cubby, Shoe Cubby or Corner Cubby, or between two Cubbies. For support, this unit will need the same size shelf to attach it to. The J-hook and Angle brace depend on one of our shelves for attachment.
Our closet rod kit includes one section of rod hanging, much like our hanging kits but without the shelves included and comes with only one section of hanging.
This is a great DIY project, wonderful for new construction or home remodel. Can be added to a single shelf or modified to an existing shelf. Its flat packed which allows for easy shipping. Straight forward design and simple hardware allows for very easy installation.

If you are covering one wall this is all you need, but if the space is longer than the size ordered, a Panel set or Cubby unit must be used as support for each side of this unit. For just a stand-alone panel you will have to have a High & a Low shelving section attached. This product is not designed to be compatible with shelving made by a different manufacturer, we highly recommend our shelving for the best fit. Additional fabrication and advanced carpentry skills/tools may be needed to attach this unit to a different product other than what NKC manufactures.
